Showcasing STEM excellence
Daniel Boone School District students represent their school at the Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference and Competition in Washington, D.C
Students Drew Pennington, Markus McCutchen, Levi Maskeri, Cole Gumba, Brenin Pumphrey and Holden Bennett competed alongside some of the nation’s top middle and high school innovators, demonstrating their creativity, technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The conference provided students with an opportunity to apply STEM skills in a competitive environment while connecting with peers who share similar interests in technology and innovation.
Participation in national-level competitions helps students develop leadership, teamwork and career-ready skills that extend well beyond the classroom. By representing Daniel Boone Area School District at this prestigious event, these students served as ambassadors for their school and showcased the strength of its educational programs.
The district’s TSA organization also recognized the many individuals who helped make the experience possible, including parents who coordinated trip details and supported students throughout the process. Special recognition was given to TSA advisor Amy Pumphrey for her leadership, mentorship and dedication to helping students achieve their goals.
