Haine Middle School students present on protecting watershed

Selected sixth grade purpose students at Haine Middle School recently presented on protecting the local watershed at a Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors meeting held at the Municipal Center.

Alongside gifted support teachers Mrs. Allison Stebbins and Mr. John Schmidt, students delivered a brief presentation and demonstrated rain barrel installation, helping educate residents on the importance of water conservation. Their efforts also contributed to fulfilling a portion of Cranberry Township’s MS4 environmental permit requirements.

Congratulations to these students for going above and beyond by participating in a local government event while making a meaningful impact on their community.
