More than 80 Parker Lord employees shared their career expertise and knowledge with students as part of STEAM Day at Northwestern Middle School. Hands-on learning stations gave students the opportunity to get creative, explore new ideas, and make meaningful, real-world connections to what they are learning every day in school through science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).
Special days like this are exactly what help connect the “why” to learning and education. Often times, such experiences help students understand how the knowledge and skills they are developing in the classroom connect to the real world and their future opportunities.
