Pleasant Valley students learn fire safety

It is the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week and students at Pleasant Valley Elementary School were visited by firefighters from our local West End Fire company and Polk Township Fire Company. The students learned about fire safety and learned about what our firefighters do for us.

Students rotated between four different stations including the opportunity to walk through a smoke house and watch the ladder truck extend all the way up! It was a wonderful and interactive learning experience for the students at Pleasant Valley Elementary School.
