Elementary school honors first responders

The Oley Valley Elementary School recognized and honored the 21st anniversary of 9/11 by creating thank-you cards for first responders in the Oley community. The cards were created by students for the Oley Fire Company, Oley Ambulance and Central Berks Police. Students also discussed 9/11 within their classrooms and had an opportunity to listen to the story 30,000 Stitches: The Inspiring Story of the National 9/11 Flag.
