Penn Hills celebrates Peace Week
Penn Hills School District | Posted on
In October Penn Hills Elementary celebrated Peace Week. Students in grades K-5 talked about the importance of peace and non-violence and created original artwork and writing celebrating and promoting peace at school. In each classroom, students signed peace pledges, signifying their commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, listening and being respectful of others. The pledges were hung in the hallways, said the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. See the collection of pledges in the school’s video on YouTube.
