Puppy Love!

For their Community – Outreach project in Yough School District, the Life Skills Support classrooms from YIMS and YHS collected donations for The Heal Animal Rescue. The YIMS students made an infomercial that was presented on the daily school news to kick off their donation drive. The classrooms proudly delivered over 400 items (toys, food, blankets and laundry detergent) to the furry residents while they wait for their “furever” homes.

The students also stopped to spread some Christmas cheer at the Ridgeview Residential Facility in Youngwood. The residents were treated to cookies decorated by the students along with the gift of homemade ornaments. The students also put on a performance that included nine Christmas carols and dancing.
