Gone bananas!

Bananas certainly beat the winter blues for students at the Snyder Elementary School, in the Sayre Area School District. Pupils here have not only been dealing with being able to be in school during the COVID-19 pandemic, they have also have had to deal with numerous snow events bringing on school cancellations, delays and at times needing to hold classes virtually from home. Cafeteria manager Alice Bennett and her Nutrition Group staff, as a morale booster, decided they needed to bring some sunshine to elementary youngsters faces after another weather delay. The cafeteria crew sent special messages via bananas in efforts to take away the winter blues that day.
