Giving back to our global community: Advocating for compassion and service

Pennridge students donate their character, time and money to Hope Haven Orphanage in Belize.

We’re #PennridgeProud of these 12 amazing kids who worked very hard to fundraise for a special cause. Hope Haven, the only orphanage on Ambergris Caye, Belize, provides a safe environment for 17 boys and girls who are survivors of severe physical abuse, sexual violence and neglect. Hope Haven provides shelter, education, medical care and mental health care within a family setting to ensure the children can heal from their trauma and begin to rebuild their lives and a learning center that provides free lessons for 85 children from low-income or no-income families.

Additionally, our Pennridge students fundraised and presented a check for $2,260 to help the orphanage offset their food bills.
