Erie’s Public Schools to hold free, regional wellness conference for school leaders

As the beneficiaries of a CDC Healthy Schools Grant, Erie’s Public Schools have been working hard to create resources around school wellness. The district is inviting all school leaders in Erie County – including school board directors, administrators, principals and assistant principals, food service directors, and district decision-makers in similar roles – to “Building Excellence Together,” a regional wellness conference. The complimentary event will be held July 20 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Strong Vincent Middle School at 1330 W. 8th Street in Erie.

Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the day will feature presentations by national experts in school wellness. For more details, see the FAQs.
