Palmerton athletes recognized as Academic All-Stars
Cora Wentz and Brayden Hosier represented Palmerton Area Senior High School at this year’s Colonial League Academic All-Star Breakfast, which was held on April 25, 2024.
Cora is a 3-sport athlete, and she earned varsity letters in girls soccer, cross country, and track and field. She is a two-time state qualifier for the PIAA cross country championships. Cora also excels off the field as president of the National Honor Society, president of Aevidum and Secretary of the Class of 2024. After graduating high school, Cora plans to attend college to major in business administration. She also plans to compete in cross country and track and field while attending college.
Brayden earned varsity letters in basketball, baseball, golf and football. During his high school basketball career, Brayden scored over 1,300 points and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee. He was also a two-time Colonial League All-League First Team member. After graduation, Brayden plans to attend college to major in civil engineering.
