Students chosen for All-State Ensembles

Nine Fox Chapel Area High School students were selected to perform with the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) All-State Ensembles. The student chosen for the PMEA All-State Chorus is senior Kristopher Pizzella. The student selected for the PMEA All-State Concert Band is junior Marina Dunham (bassoon). The students chosen for the PMEA All-State Orchestra are seniors Amelia Costello (violin), Elijah Herzer (bass clarinet), and Bridget Yun (cello) and sophomore Elliott Broyles (trombone). The students selected for the PMEA All-State Wind Ensemble are senior Chloe Kim (clarinet), junior Patton Johnson (percussion), and sophomore Joshua Shah (flute). The PMEA All-State Ensembles bring together the top student-musicians from across the state of Pennsylvania.

The PMEA All-State Festival was held at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the PMEA Annual In-Service Conference April 17-20, 2024. The Fox Chapel Area High School students performed with their prospective groups April 20 at the Warner Theater.
