Northgate SD partners with Harvard Law School

Northgate has partnered with the Berkman Klein Center out of Harvard Law School to pilot new teaching strategies and tools at the middle/high school. Teachers began testing a new online tool this week in their classrooms aimed at increasing student engagement. “Threads” is a virtual platform that creates a space to make students thinking visible in order to promote a more collaborative work environment and engage in the perspectives of their peers.

Representatives from Harvard Law School, who are leading the project, were in attendance to assist classrooms with the new technology. This new partnership will afford great opportunities for our school community.
