Students utilizing cut apples to make fall fun crafts!

Upper Perkiomen High School Perk Pal members and the school community came together for Fall Fest! This event was all possible because of two juniors who decided to host it after enjoying a similar fall festival they attended last year. This event was completely student-driven.

Perk Pals was first created by the Low Incidence and math teachers to facilitate increased opportunities for the students to engage in socialization and inclusion in other activities. We encourage understanding and acceptance of the unique qualities of the population. The hope/wish is for friendships to develop and grow between the low incidence students and students in the general population. As student leaders in the group emerge, they are encouraged to create additional activities and opportunities for inclusion. As relationships develop, opportunities for students to participate together in additional activities and community-based activities outside of the classroom environment are presented.
