Trunk or Treat along the ‘yellow brick road!’

Students, faculty and staff at Meyersdale High School had a special treat for area children on October 29.

The Meyersdale Red Raider Student Council were “off to see the wizard” and invited area children to accompany them along the “yellow brick road” for Trunk of Treat 2022. The event was centered on the theme of The Wizard of Oz and was held outdoors from on Saturday, October 29.

Students, faculty and staff were in costumes at the Meyersdale Area High School parking lot offering treats. The “yellow brick road” was clearly marked for participants to enjoy. Also, Stewart’s Transportation brought a bus to the Trunk or Treat event and offered treats.

Meyersdale’s school musical was The Wizard of Oz this year and several Student Council members were dressed as various characters from the classic.
