Towamensing students conduct food drive

Student leaders organize food donations for local organizations.
On March 14, Towamensing Elementary School held Dress Like a Celebrity Day. All participating students were asked to bring in a food donation, which went to various organizations in the local Palmerton Area School District community. Personal care items such as toilet paper and soap were also collected.
“This was a great way for our students to have fun and donate to those in need,” said school counselor, Jodi Kocher.
