Teacher uses creativity to combat anxiety

Like so many things, the inside of a classroom looks different this year. To combat fear, trepidation and anxiety of having a shield on their desk, Mrs. Erin Andretta, second grade teacher at Chief Shikellamy Elementary School, decided to turn her classroom into a fun experience. When students entered the room on August 26, they were ready to “drive” into a new way of learning. The Shikellamy Board of Education and administration applaud Andretta and other teachers like her who are teaching all of us to make the best out of a challenging situation.
