Summer music program lets young musicians shine

Over 40 students entering grades 5-8 joined forces with current high school and community musicians as a part of the Juniata County School District’s first-ever Summer Music Camp. Over the course of three days, students worked alongside current and retired music educators, as well upperclassmen from both Juniata and East Juniata High Schools. Students were given both large group rehearsal experiences, as well as individualized instruction in sectional breakout sessions. Students performed a culminating concert for their friends and families on the evening of June 26.
