Students compete on ‘KD Quiz’

Three Fox Chapel Area High School students competed in a new episode of “KD Quiz,” which will air on Saturday, November 9, 2024, on KDKA-TV (CBS Pittsburgh). The Fox Chapel Area High School team members this year are seniors Anna Delale-O’Connor and Rohit Velankar, and junior Eloise Johnson. Filming the episode, the Fox Chapel Area High School team competed against students from Moniteau and Springdale high schools. The Fox Chapel Area High School “KD Quiz” sponsor is gifted education facilitator Lisa Gibson.

“KD Quiz” is a Saturday-morning high school academic quiz show presented by KDKA-TV in partnership with GBU Life. It is open to students from the KDKA-TV viewing area from 81 high schools who compete in teams of three and answer questions from a variety of curricular areas. The program host is KDKA meteorologist Ray Petelin.
