Student excels in Read-A-Thon competition
Jeremiah, fifth grader, and Cairnbrook Read-A-Thon Champ 2025
During the 2024-25 school year, the elementary school held a Read-A-Thon competition for individual and class readers to compete as an optional educational opportunity. From January 2025 until May 2025, a fifth-grade student, Jeremiah L., read 26,715 pages as an individual beating even teachers in the reading competition. Because of his dedication to reading, he was able to pie the superintendent on the last day of school.
