Seneca Valley Raider Pride on display

Home of SV Raiders sign unveiling

Together, with the nine municipalities that comprise the Seneca Valley School District, students officially unveiled our new “Home of the Seneca Valley Raiders” signs during a special ceremony held November 3 in Jackson Township, the epicenter of the district. Students, teachers, administrators and municipality leaders gathered to share what this effort meant to them.

Last April, a group of passionate students launched a meaningful initiative: a districtwide signage project designed to strengthen connections, boost school pride and celebrate what it means to be part of the Seneca Valley family.

The idea was simple but powerful: install custom street signs around the district that proudly reflect Seneca Valley and all it stands for — student success, well-being and a strong sense of belonging. Covering nine municipalities and more than 100 square miles, these signs mark the moment when you’ve officially entered Seneca Valley, transforming ordinary roads into visible symbols of community and connection.

These 12″ x 18″ reflective signs are more than decorative. According to the research conducted by the student team, data shows that visible displays of school pride can positively impact students’ mental health, improve attendance and strengthen the bond between schools and the neighborhoods they serve.

Special thanks to all involved for their collaboration and dedication toward this project!
