Ready, Set, Learn at PVSD
Having fun while learning at Ready Set Learn!
Ready Set Learn is a program designed to prepare incoming kindergarten children and their families for entry into school. Families are invited to participate in a series of five sessions, throughout the school year, that cover topics such as book and print awareness, letter identification, number identification, building vocabulary, counting, sound awareness and letter sounds. The children have the opportunity to become familiar with the school, socialize and participate in various activity stations. While the children are engaged in hands-on activities, their parents are learning ways they can help their children prepare for school.
