Opening Day pep rally for teachers

The BTSD Culture and Climate Committee planned the Opening Day event for teachers.

Bristol Township School District teachers kicked off the school year with an Opening Day pep rally! The Truman Tiger Band and Varsity Cheerleading team welcomed teachers to the building.

The event recognized teachers for years of service, new hires and Truman grad employees. Alumni messages and a highlights video of the 2023-24 school year motivated the staff, and prizes were won throughout the event. More than $600 in prizes were donated by community sponsors.

Autism advocate and public motivator Ben Hartranft of Benergy also spoke to staff about being the “1” to stand up for kindness and inclusion.
