NPHS seniors earn jobs after graduation and pre-apprenticeship program

Three North Penn High School seniors completed a pre-apprenticeship program with Stein Seal, a local leader in manufacturing, through our CHIP program. During the second semester of their senior year, they gained hands-on experience at Stein Seal and completed online modules independently. After graduation, all three were offered full-time positions and earned hours toward Stein Seal’s state-approved CNC Machining apprenticeship.

The CHIP program stands for Community Hosted Internship Program and offers juniors and seniors opportunities to complete internships with businesses in our local community for both class credit and real-world job experience. This program has been very successful in offering students opportunities to discover what types of jobs they might want to pursue after graduation.
