Middle school earns Project Lead the Way distinction

The West York Area Middle School was recently recognized as a 2020-21 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School! The West York Area School District is committed to helping students own their education by increasing student access, engagement and achievement through PLTW programs. According to the PLTW website, PLTW enhances learning curriculum with hands-on experiences through an activity-, project- and problem-based (APB) instructional approach. Students gain STEM skills and confidence as they explore solutions to solve real-world problems.
