Luggage donations help students prep for college

The School District of Lancaster is helping new high school graduates prepare for college, by collecting donations of new or lightly used luggage. The suitcase drive is aimed at helping students overcome even small obstacles to their educational dreams. It’s the sixth year the district has held the drive.
In an article by ABC News, Phil Jago, the district’s college and career specialist, said that many of Lancaster’s college-bound graduates are the first in their families to pursue higher education and sometimes don’t have the resources to provide these items for themselves. So, the community’s support is greatly appreciated.
