High school club assists with trout restocking

Fox Chapel Area High School senior Josiah Rivera helps restock fish in the Pine Creek Watershed in October.

Members of the Fox Chapel Area High School Fishing Club partnered with the Allison Park Sportsmen’s Club and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to restock trout in the Pine Creek Watershed on October 22, 2024.

Club members senior Josiah Rivera and juniors Dylan Calig, Miles Carey, Nicholas Krist, Gino Pototo and Sean Regan all helped with the restocking. The students, along with Fox Chapel Area High School teacher and fishing club sponsor Eric Norberg and school counselor John Baxter, placed trout in the delayed harvest stretch of the creek between Bryant Road and Mt. Royal Boulevard in Allison Park.
