Haine Elementary school rocks

Haine Elementary School’s rock garden is blooming with kindness.

The school’s Best Buddies chapter recently hosted their spring activity with a brush stroke of color and creativity! Students got crafty by painting rocks that will be added to their rock garden displayed near the entrance of Haine Elementary School.

Best Buddies is an international organization consisting of volunteers that create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the elementary level, it’s about promoting inclusion and friendship among students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities through group activities.
