Global connections at Pleasant Valley

Pleasant Valley Middle School Spanish Teacher Stefanie Santiago bid farewell and safe travels to her first Global Connections class. She sent them off with their passports and suitcases, filled with gum to chew to pop their ears on the airplane along with a few other treats. They proudly displayed their class culture quilt and the flags of the world. Throughout their 45-day exploration, Ms. Santiago helped her students become more open-minded, more curious, and more inclusive, thus shaping them into global citizens!
