Getting into the ‘STREAM’ of things
Families “STREAM” in, ready for a fun night!
On April 20, Pleasant Valley Elementary (PVE) and Intermediate (PVI) students attended Family STREAM Night. STREAM stands for science, technology, robotics/reading, engineering, arts and math. The activities were hosted by PVE and PVI teachers as well as our staff and student teachers. At the event, students were invited to learn to code in the “Robot Playground,” try out 3D pens, compare slime to oobleck, watch 3D printers in action, swap a book or two at our Book Swap and so much more. All of the activities focused on the components of STREAM and were engaging and enriching for students and their families to enjoy at this family engagement event!
