Fire prevention is a hot topic in Palmerton

Palmerton elementary students were treated with a visit from our local fire trucks during Fire Prevention Week.

Elementary students in the Palmerton Area School District were provided with a variety of great information during Fire Prevention Week. Three local fire agencies (Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Company, and Palmerton Fire Department) came to visit elementary students throughout the week. They spoke to the students about fire safety, did presentations, and let them see the fire trucks. This was a wonderful way to combine learning and fun!
