Dental Program comes to Clarion-Limestone Elementary

Mrs. Greta Edmonds, the School Nurse at Clarion-Limestone Area School District, saw a growing need for dental care of students in the schools.

As a result Mrs. Edmonds collaborated with Mrs. Crystal Siebka of UPMC for You, Dr. Nicole Podrat of Miracle Dental Associates, Mrs. Tricia Pezzuti of Primary Health Network, and Elementary Principal Mrs. Kristie Taylor.

The team collaborated in a wonderful effort this week to help solve the deficiency in access to dental services. Nearly 60 students received exams, x-rays, dental cleanings, sealants, restorative care and extractions, and dental education, as well as dental hygiene supplies.

Miracle Dental accepts all dental insurances, and will return to the district in the spring for additional follow-up care and new patient visits.
