The Senior High School (SHS) Chess Club recently won first place in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Chess League for a second consecutive year. In this case, Seneca Valley tied with Thomas Jefferson High School at the top of the league but finished ahead of Baldwin, Bethel Park, The Kiski School, Mars, Aquinas Academy, Gateway and Upper St. Clair.
