Chapter celebrates National FFA Week

Members of the Meyersdale FFA held a series of special events and activities in observance of National FFA Week. One of the activities was to provide faculty and staff with a breakfast cart. Members Bailey Knotts, Caleb Snyder, Evan Knotts and Brayden Van Bogelen; are seen here delivering breakfast to Mrs. Megan Edwards.
“National FFA week is an important week because this helps FFA enroll more future members. We can also take this time to give back to their communities or schools. FFA can also help educate kids and teachers about the club and what we do,” explained eighth-grade member Estella Friend. “During the week, we reminded people about how agriculture is so important to our world.”
Meyersdale Area High School FFA Chapter President Alexia Laws said the week-long observance was exciting for members and students alike. “National FFA week is important because it’s a week of promoting and recognizing what FFA is and how far it has come,” she explained. “It is a time for us to promote agriculture and share with others the experience FFA can bring.”
