East Petersburg Elementary students celebrate kindness with school counselor Mrs. Adelyn Pawlik.

Hempfield School District is celebrating acts of KINDNESS at East Petersburg Elementary School! Teachers have been distributing strips of paper to students who have seen or shown acts of kindness around the school. They’ve created a chain-link display of these kind acts in the lobby for all to see. On Monday, February 22, students chose to wear bright colors to remind everyone that kindness and kind words can brighten our days.
