KDKA and Yough career-ready presentation

Yough Intermediate Middle School District students had the opportunity to hear from the KDKA TV Morning News anchors (Pittsburgh) Erica Mokay and John Shumay about broadcasting and journalism. The students heard the stories of their career paths, asked questions and gained an understanding of what it takes to become a broadcaster and journalist. Before the presentation, students had to complete a career inventory of what they hope to learn from the presentation, submit questions and then write a reflection.
