MAHS NHS has kicked off their annual Blooms of Hope campaign.

The MAHS National Honor Society (NHS) has the cure for your winter blues! Members have kicked off their annual Blooms of Hope fundraiser selling fresh and potted daffodils. Meyersdale NHS students have raised more than $34,000 since the inception of this annual campaign, first known as Daffodil Days.

To date, the Blooms of Hope contributions have served hundreds of patients throughout Somerset County. All proceeds remain in this area, benefitting Somerset County cancer patients through assistance with medical bills and associated costs for treatments and hospitalizations.

“Blooms of Hope gives us an opportunity to support a very important cause right here in our own community. Daffodils are a beautiful reminder of spring, something that will brighten anyone’s day and give them hope,” Yoder explained. “National Honor Society appreciates the chance to be a part of sharing that hope with those who need it most.”
