Aevidum club promotes positive actions

Aevidum is a student empowerment program that cultivates mental health awareness, promotes positive actions and engenders student morale. The Oley Valley High School’s Aevidum club is currently in its second year. So far this year, members have completed positive messaging campaigns, used media to bring awareness to suicide prevention, written letters to soldiers overseas, collected food for the local food bank, and have facilitated donations for Toys for Tots. Membership is at an all time high!

Aevidum members spent the end of November and the beginning of December creating giant snowflakes. Aevidum’s “Beat the Winter Blues” campaign asked that all homerooms and offices decorate a giant snowflake to make it “snow” in the cafeteria. Students and staff made beautiful contributions! The result was a positive display of school community and creativity.
