Northwest Area’s Aevidum Leadership Team

Recently, the Northwest Area School District’s Aevidum Club was awarded the National Club of the Year. There are over 300 Clubs throughout PA, Maryland, Missouri, Iowa and North Dakota. According to the national organization’s website, Aevidum Clubs inspire schools and communities to adopt cultures of care and advocacy, encouraging all members to have their friends’ backs. The goal is to support student mental health.

At a ceremony awarding the honor, the presenter said,” Aevidum is pleased to present the Club of the Year Award for 2025-26 to a small school in a very rural area. They began their Aevidum Club 10 years ago and until recently needed to travel long distances to give student leaders in their school the opportunity to experience a Talk Workshop and network with like-minded peers. Over the past few years, they have hosted multiple Talk Workshops for schools in their county expanding Aevidums reach into a new area. Next month they will be helping facilitate a Talk Workshop four hours from them in southwest Pennsylvania, bringing Aevidum’s message of hope to a completely new geographical area while also supporting a school who had three student losses this year alone.”

Congratulations to Northwest Area School District’s Aevidum Club for your hard work and this national honor!
