McDowell eSports team crowned Allegheny Conference Champions

McDowell High School’s eSports team competed at Robert Morris University in the Allegheny Conference Championship on April 13, 2025. During matches, students competed in video games such as Rocket League, Overwatch, Valorant and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Through hard matches and a 2-1 score in finals, the team became the conference champions for the first time in school history.

This championship win automatically qualifies McDowell eSports for the next level. The team will be heading to State Playoffs in May.
