Students accept the award for “Best Educational Value” at the ceremony in Blue Bell.

Seven students from Armstrong Middle School participated in this year’s What’s So Cool About Manufacturing (WSCM) video contest. The goal of the WSCM project is to expose students to the various opportunities in the manufacturing industry in our region. This year’s team was partnered up with Lawall Prosthetics and Orthotics and the students traveled to their Langhorne facility in December to shoot footage for their video project.

Over the past few months, the Armstrong News Network/Tiger Tech students spent hours compiling different clips and editing their video project. This past Thursday, Armstrong’s team traveled to Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, PA, for the awards ceremony. The team’s project won “Best Educational Value” for the Philadelphia Region. Congratulations Jacob, Kayla, Cassidy, Kaylee, Nora, Kiera and Lex!
