Students and staff at Beaumont Elementary School in Tredyffrin/Easttown School District came together in November to support Epilepsy Awareness Month by wearing purple, the official color for epilepsy awareness.

The day began with staff participating in a specialized training session focused on identifying the signs of seizures and understanding the appropriate follow-up care needed to support students with epilepsy. Throughout the day, classrooms engaged in meaningful discussions after reading Milo & Me: Learn About Absence Epilepsy, a children’s book designed to promote awareness and foster acceptance of those living with epilepsy.

This initiative highlighted the importance of creating an inclusive school environment while educating students and staff about a critical health issue.
