Workforce on Wheels (WOW) visits Truman High School
The Workforce on Wheels (WOW) made a stop at Truman High School! This service, offered by the Pennsylvania CareerLink, meets Bucks County residents of all ages where they are, bringing them the same free, dedicated career support, resources and programs found at PA CareerLink Bucks County Offices.
Some of the services offered include:
- Resume writing assistance
- Interview skill training and mock interviews
- Job search tools and support programs
- Fill out and upload applications
“CareerLink offers assistance to anyone who needs help finding a job, building a resume, or looking for training and funding to assist paying for training/education,” Mae Fernandez, transition coordinator. “The WOW bus is available to anyone who cannot get to the CareerLink office in Trevose and comes to your neighborhood to help. It’s a fantastic resource for anyone in the job market.”
“This is a great service to our students who are getting ready to transition from high school into post-secondary education or to the job market,” added Al Oberman, director of student services. “I am thankful to our entire transition team for making this possible.
