PV teachers making a splash!

Pleasant Valley High School’s 2024 Bonfire and Block Party held on October 10 was a huge success. The event celebrated the long-standing tradition of a community bonfire in anticipation of the football game for the Old Oaken Bucket against Pocono Mountain East. Students, families and local residents came together for an evening of fun, food and excitement.

The event was packed with many exciting activities. There were a variety of food trucks serving delicious eats, face painting and games for children of all ages. Our highlighted event was the dunk tank featuring our superintendent, Dr. James Konrad. Staff members from all buildings volunteered to join Dr. Konrad and took a turn in the dunk tank! A DJ, our very own senior Dylan Keesler, kept the energy high with great music, adding to the spirited atmosphere. As the night drew to a close, the crowd gathered to watch the lighting of the bonfire, a perfect cap to an incredible evening of school spirit and community pride.

It was a night to remember, filled with laughter, excitement and plenty of anticipation for the big game!
