Taking a book walk with “Acorn Was a Little Wild” at PVE

Over the summer months, Pleasant Valley Elementary School (PVE) transformed part of its outdoor space into a beautiful butterfly garden and book walk. The butterfly garden, filled with colorful flowers and plants not only attracts butterflies, it also serves as an outdoor classroom where students can learn about nature and the environment.

Alongside the garden, a book walk was installed, featuring pages of children’s books on stands, encouraging students to engage with books as they stroll through the garden. This project fosters a love for reading and nature, creating a peaceful, educational space for our students at PVE.
