“Willy Wonka” unveiling the Book Vending Machine at PVE
Pleasant Valley Elementary unveiled its brand new book vending machine, which will promote literacy and award students for outstanding effort. Each month teachers will choose two students who show their “best effort” in reading and award them a token to use in the book machine to receive a new book. Students earn tokens for exhibiting good reading habits, skills and effort. This initiative not only encourages a love of reading but helps to nurture a culture of growth and learning at Pleasant Valley Elementary!
