Palmerton seniors complete “Grad Walk”

Class of 2024 graduates visit Towamensing, their former elementary school.
On the last day of the school year, elementary schools in the Palmerton Area School District open their doors for seniors to come back and complete a “Grad Walk.” On graduation morning, seniors wear their robes and parade through their former elementary school’s hallways. Current elementary students and teachers line the hallways to clap for the graduates. This is a wonderful tradition that has been occurring for many years in the district.
