Key Club fosters good character through service

Members of the Key Club at West Mifflin Area High School recently participated in a trash cleanup around the school campus. It’s just one of the many community service projects and activities club members participate in throughout the year to foster school spirit, preparing students for useful citizenship and benefit the whole community.
The Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. The core values of the Key Club are leadership, character building, caring and inclusiveness. The Key Club is a senior-only club at West Mifflin Area. Seniors serve on an advisory board, which meets with building administration. Members of the Key Club mentor freshman and sophomore students. The Key Club is one of 30+ clubs and organizations available to students at the district.
