Fostering a sense of community

2020-21 has been a challenging year for elementary students in Somerset Area School District, but the students have been so resilient! They still love being at school and have adapted and rolled with everything! The district has connected so much more with families this year through phone calls, home visits, zooming and checking-in often. In addition, Somerset delivers around 100 meals to families each month. Students participated in community projects to help others. The district has worked even harder this year to have a sense of community and to take care of each other. We have happy, connected children here that love the stability school provides.
