AHN LifeFlight offers learning presentation
AHN LifeFlight 5 provided a unique learning experience for Thomas Jefferson High School (TJHS) students on Monday, May 10 during Personalized Learning Time (PLT). Approximately 50 students took advantage of the career learning session. The LifeFlight crew based in Rostraver landed in the physical education field behind the high school and spoke to students about their educational backgrounds and job responsibilities as well as answered all student questions. Students even had the opportunity to take a seat inside the aircraft and explore! Adam Knaresborough, assistant principal of TJHS extended a special thank-you to the flight crew for taking time out of their busy day to share their knowledge and expertise with the students: “It’s a great experience for our students, a lot to be learned today, and we’re excited to see the helicopter land on campus and provide this hands-on career exploration opportunity.”
